Project Development Worker (Support Brokerage)

Salary: up to £28,000 incl. OLW (35hrs/wk, 12 month contract)

Do you have the energy and drive to support our joint vision for Transforming Adult Social Care? Do you have the creative ability and flexibility to deliver changes within a fast moving but supportive and enthusiastic environment?

KCIL, in partnership with the local authority and members of a voluntary sector consortium, have created this exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to lead on the development of an innovative new project based in central Kingston. The project will promote, develop and regulate support planning and brokerage services for Individual Budget holders in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames.

The successful applicant will have:

  • A proven track record of successful design and delivery of pilot projects, together with accomplished project management skills.
  • Experience of working collaboratively and managing effective relationships across statutory and voluntary sectors.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of self directed support services

The role will include:

· Working and consulting with service users and families,

· Working with local voluntary and community organisations

· Developing and promoting new systems to support, train and regulate Brokerage services in the Borough.
