Debate on changes to NHS in Kingston

Speakers: Dr Jonathan Hildebrand, Kingston’s Director of Public Health

Dr Naz Jivani representing Kingston’s GP consortium

When: 2.30-4.30 pm, Fri 4 March 2011

Where: NHS Kingston, 22 Hollyfield Road, Surbiton KT5 9AL

Local patients and residents are invited to an event organised by Kingston’s LINK and partners, to discuss changes to the NHS. This follows publication of the Government’s health and social care bill and the public health white paper. Changes include the development of GP consortia to take over commissioning of the majority of health services. Residents also have until March 8 to comment on a public health white paper, which outlines plans for health improvement and health protection.
